The Best SodaStream Flavors for Tasty (& Easy) Sodas at Home

admin/ Reviews+ Tips & Tricks

Thinking of buying a SodaStream, but want to learn more about which SodaStream flavors are available? Or maybe you alrady have one, but you’re looking for some new flavors to try.

I’ve got your back. In this post, I’ll review the best SodaStream flavors so you know what’s available (and can hopefully avoid some of the worst flavors!)

Ultimately, this comes down to your soda preferences. If you’re a cola fan, SodaStream has a flavor for you! If you’re more looking to replace flavored soda water like La Croix, there’s fruit flavors that you’ll love.

There are 5 lines of SodaStream flavors made by SodaStream. (There are also other brands available for soda syrups.) The five main lines of SodaStream flavors are:

  • Classic Soda Flavors (flavors like cola, ginger ale, and other soda classics)
  • Diet Soda Flavors (all of your favorite classics with 0 calories)
  • Fruit Drops (great for making fruit-flavored sparkling water with a wide variety of lemon, cucumber, watermelon and more)
  • Fruit Syrups (these are great those that love orange soda or want to make coconut pineapple mocktails)
  • Soda Press (SodaStream’s line of organic soda syrups in classic flavors)

Reviews of the Best 5 SodaStream Flavors

Now, let’s take a look at which are the best flavors within each of the different lines of SodaStream syrups and flavors!

1. SodaStream Fruit Drops

If you’re a La Croix fan looking to use your SodaStream to make flavored sparkling water, try the Fruit Drops.

One small bottle can flavor 20+ liters. You just add a couple of drops to a single liter for flavor. You control just how much flavor you want.

The fruit drops are my favorite way to flavor my soda water, and my absolute favorite flavor is the cucumber. It takes just like cucumber infused water. You can also mix some of the fruit flavors, like combining cucumber and lime. These flavors are all-around well reviewed.

2. Tonic Water

This syrup is great – tasting just like a canned Tonic! It makes 7 liters. Also, it doesn’t contain any high-fructose corn syrup and has slightly less sugar than other store bought brands. The great thing about making your own soda also means you get to control how sweet it is.

3. Root Beer

Both the diet version and classic version of the root beer are good!

4. Grapefruit

The pink grapefruit SodaStream flavor is so tasty! It’s 0 calories, and I prefer it over most other diet flavors.

5. Homestyle Lemonade

The homestyle lemonade flavor makes it easy & quick to make sparkling lemonade! It’s a really tasty flavor. You can also look at easily making your own lemonade syrup.

These five flavors have been the best ones I’ve tried. But as I said above, it really depends on what your favorite sodas are! If you’re a cola fan, it’s also a great flavor. I recommend trying some of the variety packs to get an idea of what your personal favorite SodaStream flavors are.
